Any suggestion of IP cam?

A maid is coming next week and want to set some IP cam to watch what's going on at home.
the problem is my modems are in my bed room and the cams will be set in the living room, I think the WIFI may not be strong enough to penetrate all the walls.

Panasonic is not really good
Now thinking Vivotek or level one or Dlink
need to go to see the real thing as I want to change the lens to a wide angle one
lvl one has a tilt and pan one and saying using board lens
vivotek seems using CS mount
both can be changed if real 1/4 CCD sensor seems ok
