but comparing both lens F4L is much sharper than F2.8L
also the weight of F2.8L is too heavy esp for travelling
I was very headache to decide buying 2.8L or 4L before and finally made the decision of 4L
the IS of 4L is really wonderful and the weight is only half of 2.8L
and the image is definitely sharper for 4L
