phpMyAdmin phpMyAdmin

small

i setup the web server using php-mySQL
and install phpMyAdmin
but go to 127.0.0.1/phpMyAdmin,
it shows " phpMyAdmin - ERROR
cannot load mysql extension. Please check PHP configuration"

wt's my next step?
how to fix this problem?
Help!!!
